Tractor accidents fall into two different categories. Number one is when there's a traffic accident involving a tractor. Those vehicles have visibility issues and almost always the single most important question involving a tractor accident is whether or not it had the triangle displayed for road work. Sometimes when they're on the road, you'll have an accident. We had a case where the triangle itself was covered up by the fender and the motorist contended that the tractor did not have its triangle displayed, but we were able to get an expert bend out the fender and there was in fact the triangle that is required for road uses. So if there is a traffic accident involving a tractor, that's a case, but a lot of times it depends on whether or not the triangle itself was displayed. Those have bulbs, they have filaments. We can go in and have an expert tell us whether or not the switch was in the right position for the flashers to be on and they can take the bulbs apart and they can tell by the filaments whether the filaments were on and the lights were actually flashing. There are other kinds of tractor cases that involve rollovers. Tractors themselves have killed over 50,000 American farmers. They are very dangerous to operate. We pioneered as lawyers the ROPS system, Rollover Protection Systems for Farmers. They have a bad tendency to rollover on any sort of an incline. So if you are hurt operating a tractor or you are involved in a traffic accident with a tractor, call us. We know tractor accidents.
